Arrival in Bomarzo, closed to Cimino Mount, and visit to the House of Wonders, famous for the Sacred forest. Known as "Monsters Park of Bomarzo" was devised by the architect Pirro Ligorio on commision of Prince Orsini, "only to vent the heart broken" at the death of is wife Giulia Farnese". The enormous statues in the forest are between mythology and fantasy.

You reach Umbria to discover the fortified villages lying on the hills of the Tiber valley, surrounded by olive groves and vineyards. You can admire the evocative castles that dominate the villages of Giove and Attigliano.

Breakfast at the hotel.
Departure for a day of discovery of the natural beauty and gastronomic excellence of the Umbrian hills.
Arrival at a winery in Montecchio, guided tour and tasting of wines and typical products.
Continue to an ancient oil mill, visit to the oil museum and tasting of the various types of oil produced.
Continue to the village of Lugnano in Teverina, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. Of Roman origin, it preserves the remains of a villa and a disturbing children's necropolis from the 1st century AD, the ancient Romanesque Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the 13th century convent of San Francescos.
Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

3rd day

Visit to Civita di Bagnoregio, also known as the "city that dies", one of a kind because it is subject to erosion of the tufa and clay hill on which it is located, which, over the centuries, shaped according to a peculiar form the surrounding valley.
