Walking in Sirmione and boat tour on Garda Lake

MORNING from 9,30 to 12,30 approx.

Guided visit to Catullo's grottoes*, the renowned villa of the Roman empire located on a panoramic position on a promontory of the peninsula, walk across the medieval hamlet to visit the Rocca Scaligera* built in the 13th century by Mastino I della Scala, the Baths and the house of Maria Callas.

walk across the medieval hamlet to visit the Rocca Scaligera* built in the 13th century by Mastino I della Scala, the Baths and the house of Maria Callas, the church of S. Maria Maggiore (15th century), the ruins of the Lombard church dedicated to San Salvatore and the church of S. Pietro in Mavino with remarkable frescoes of 12th/16th century.

AFTERNOON from 14,30 to 16,00 approx.

Unforgettable cruise across the Garda Lake on board of a unique boat allowing also to admire the depth opf the lake. during the cruise a skillful guide will narrate the history of Desenzano del Garda and of the lake.


Itinerary includes: Sirmione, Castello Scaligero, Villa Callas, Terme, Grotte di Catullo, Fonte Boiola and transfer back.
During the cruise you can admire the lake shores, the depths, fishes, macrophytes, algae, rushes and birds. Will enjoy views of the island of Sirmione, of Catullo's grottoes and of the Castello Scaligero from the lake. Will also see the Fonte Boiola (spring of thermal water).
