A spiritual journey, a way of faith that links two of the most famous cities for pilgrimage, Assisi and Rome.
The route passes through 10 stages in the places where St. Francesco lived and prayed, visiting shrines and religious sites related to the life of the saint.
The itinerary is divided in following stages:
1° stage – from Assisi to Foligno (20 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
2° stage – from Foligno to Trevi (13 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
3° stage – from Trevi to Poreta (12 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
4° stage – from Poreta to Spoleto (15 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
5° stage – from Spoleto to Ceselli (17 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
6° stage – from Ceselli to Arrone (15 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
7° stage – from Arrone to Piediluco (13 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
8° stage – from Piediluco to Poggio Bustone (22 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
9° stage – from Poggio Bustone to Rieti (18,5 km). Dinner and overnight in hotel.
10° stage – from Rieti to Roma by train (possibility to plan a walking pilgrimage also from Rieti to Rome increasing nights). Two overnights in Rome in half board treatment.
Departure from Rome and end of services scheduled.
