Three days to discover an area of ​​particular beauty in the green heart of Umbria: close to Tuscany and Lazio, between the provinces of Perugia and Terni, between the middle Tiber valley and the Etruscan territories of the Orvietano, a real " middle ground" recently included in the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve list.

1st day

Arrival at the Regional Park of Lake Trasimeno, walk in the fortified village of Passignano, surrounded by medieval walls, dominated by the ancient Rocca. Continue to visit an ancient olive oil mill on the shores of the lake, tasting lunch with extra virgin olive oil, legumes, chopping of typical products, vegetables, accompanied by white wine from the hills. In the afternoon a fun adventure to discover the hills on the lake: a two-hour excursion aboard a quad, accompanied by expert staff. 2nd day

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure for Orvieto, a wonderful city perched on a cliff of tufa. Visit to the San Patrizio's well, an engineering masterpiece created by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger in the 16th century to provide water to the city in the event of a disaster. Continue to the medieval quarter, entrance to the hypogeum rooms of the Pozzo della Cava, visit of the caves that include Etruscan tombs, cisterns and cellars. Walk through the streets of the old town to the Cathedral of Romanesque origin: inside the Chapel of San Brizio you can admire the prestigious frescoes by Luca Signorelli, Benozzo Gozzoli and Beato Angelico. 3rd day

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out. Day dedicated to trekking and natural trails to discover the area of ​​the Park of Monte Peglia and Selva di Meana recently declared UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Box lunch provided for picnics in the open air.

San Venanzo: municipality located in the heart of the Volcanological Park where 265 thousand years ago there were 3 volcanoes. Trekking course in the park to admire lava flows, ancient craters as well as rocks and various minerals.

Parco dei Sette Frati: near the top of Monte Peglia, it offers ecotourism trails in the shade of a cerreta and a view of the mountains of 4 Italian regions of Umbria, Tuscany, Lazio and Abruzzo.

Selva di Meana: from the village of Meana begins a ring route that stretches from Allerona to the valley of the River Paglia, up to Villa Cahen, in liberty style surrounded by a wonderful garden.
