Arrival in Bettona ancient Etruscan city on the hills of the Upper Tiber Valley. Take a walk through the streets of the ancient village, one of the most interesting in Umbria: a medieval city wall encloses 13th century churches, medieval palaces and the Pinacoteca with important works by Perugino and Della Robbia.
Continue to an uncontaminated place, a Country Resort on the hills surrounded by olive groves, woods, farms and lots of nature.
Jeep Safari inside the Relais to introduce children to all the animals of the Poggio: the industrious bees, Ugo the pretty pony, Lola the little calf, the goats, the piglets, the ducks and the majestic peacocks. Stop for a delicious snack. Accommodation in triple room, welcome dinner with menu dedicated to children. Overnight stay.
2nd day
Breakfast.
Meeting with the chef who will hand out chef's hats to the children before taking them on a fun and educational path through the kitchen. The children will learn simple recipes that will be prepared and enjoyed happily at the end of the course. The handouts and the diploma of participation will be handed out.
During the children's cooking class, parents can take a guided tour of the olive oil mill, with tasting of the various types of oil on bruschetta and to conclude tasting of local wines.
3rd day
Breakfast and check-out. Free time to discover the olive groves, walk in the woods or other activities on request such as Truffle Hunting.
