For boat enthusiasts, the Tremiti Islands, a natural paradise nestled in the Gargano National Park, are an almost obligatory destination. This is due to their unique morphology and consistently mild weather conditions. The five islands, located off the Adriatic coasts of Gargano in Puglia, are true corners of pristine paradise, rich in natural beauty. The small islands (3 square kilometers in total), situated 12 nautical miles from the Gargano coast and 24 from the Molise coast, are a haven for diving enthusiasts and nature lovers. The color of the sea, with its thousand shades, reminiscent of the Caribbean Sea.
Day 1: San Salvo navigation to the Tremiti Islands Embarkation at the Marina Cala del Golfo Tourist Port. Vessel: Bavaria 51' Cruiser. You will reach the port, just a few hundred meters from the hotel, to meet the skipper and the boat's crew. Today, you'll sail to the Tremiti Islands, approximately 10 nautical miles from the coast, the last paradise of the Italian Adriatic, the small archipelago of the Tremiti Islands. You'll navigate along the Abruzzo and Molise coasts before heading decisively towards the islands. The expected arrival is at night, and the boat will anchor in the bay.
Day 2: Tremiti, San Domino Island, and Caprara in Trekk&Boat San Domino, covered with Aleppo pines and Mediterranean vegetation, is the main island. It is particularly suitable for trekking excursions, including some technically challenging routes. Caprara, an uninhabited island where royal seagulls nest and dotted with caper plants, is a paradise for divers. Worth visiting for a swim in the beautiful Cala dei Turchi. The day will be spent between TREKKING and BOAT activities. Return on board for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Day 3: Tremiti, San Nicola Island, and Cretaccio in Trekk&Boat As you sail along the islands, you'll discover numerous coves, caves, and bays. We will also visit Cretaccio, essentially a rock but much loved by diving enthusiasts. Pianosa, on the other hand, has been inaccessible since 1989 as it is an integral marine reserve. The day will be spent on excursions and exploring caves by BOAT. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Return to the port of San Salvo A final day to enjoy the sea and sun of the Tremiti Islands before departure. Return scheduled for 7:30 PM at the departure port, with disembarkation to return to your respective destinations. The station is only a few kilometers from the port. You can request a taxi service directly from the crew."
