1st Day: Arrival in Scanno
Arrive in Scanno to meet the guide. Explore the village, one of the most beautiful in Italy, with a stroll in the "romantic" village, also known as the village of photographers. Optionally, take a "heart" trek of about 2.5 hours to see the lake from above with its characteristic heart shape. Dinner will be typical. Overnight stay.

2nd Day: From Scanno to Pescasseroli
Start the tour of the upper Sangro lakes with a journey through the village of Scanno, heading towards Villalago, passing by Lake Scanno and reaching the village. From there, proceed to Lake San Domenico (possible visit to the Hermitage). Continue towards Anversa degli Abruzzi (for those who are up for it, a steep climb to the village of Castrovalva, famous for inspiring MC Escher, about 2 km). Then, head to the village of Cocullo, and from there, begin the ascent that will take you over the Marsican mountains to descend into the heart of the Abruzzo National Park, Pescasseroli. Possible visit to the wildlife park. Arrival at the residence. Typical dinner. Overnight stay (approximately 63 km).

3rd Day: From Pescasseroli to Scanno and Departure
From the Abruzzo National Park, follow the Sangro River, which will accompany you to Villetta Barrea and the homonymous lake. Follow the Val Fondillo to Opi, through green and lush beech forests. Pescasseroli, along with Opi, marks the border of Marsica with Alto Sangro and the Cinque Miglia plateau. Upon reaching Civitella Alfedena, circumnavigate the lake (possible encounter with numerous deer in this area) to face the ascent that will lead you to Passo Godi.
