Bevagna in the heart of the Umbrian Valley, not far from Assisi, Foligno, Montefalco, Spello is one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy.
Bevagna preserves the memory of the historical events that have seen it as a protagonist and returns to being entirely medieval in the Mercato delle Gaite, a world-famous event that stages architecture, crafts, clothing, food and life scenes of the time.
In the centre of the city, in the historic residence owned by the nobleman Pietro Brunamonti and the poetess Alinda Bonacci, there is now a finely restored hotel capable of bringing you back to the splendours of the past: Palazzo Brunamonti.
In the medieval structure, during the restoration works, remains of Roman times have come to light, visible today at the entrance, the common areas are entirely frescoed and furnished with period furniture.
The rooms of the Hotel Palazzo Brunamonti, have vaulted ceilings, color TV, air conditioning and private bathroom. The hotel also has a reading area, a dining room where breakfast is served every day.
