The cooking courses by Percorsi con Gusto are held by Lorena Autuori, trained at the "International School of Italian Cuisine ALMA" directed by the famous great chef Gualtiero Marchesi.
In the kitchen of her 18th Century residence in Umbria, Lorena offers different menus that range over the traditions of Italian cuisine, with a particular focus on some regions.
Each participant is provided with his own station on which, guided by the explanations and directions of the chef, immediately take a direct contact with the ingredients and with the techniques of preparation of the dishes.
During the courses we do not only observe, but we work independently to the realization of every single recipe, starting from the dough for the handmade pasta.
At the end of the preparation and cooking of the dishes, guests are invited to stop for a dinner: Lorena offers her table, her company and the hospitality of her splendid home. All accompanied by the most important Umbrian wines to pair with dishes.
The courses have a minimum duration of 3 hours and can be held in the morning or in the afternoon, depending on the choice will follow lunch or dinner. Both are served at the table and include wines from renowned local cellars.
