A day discovering the Cinque Terre, a corner of paradise in Liguria, on the border with Tuscany.
Five seaside villages, each with unique characteristics and colours, to be visited by ferry or train, with guide.
You will stop in Manarola, Monterosso, Riomaggiore and Vernazza, leaving out the village of Corniglia, visible from the sea.
This is a UNESCO World Heritage area, where the mixtures of land and sea have created a unique landscape.
The area consists of kilometres of rocky coastline with caves, beaches, hikes and breathtaking routes.
Participants will meet in Florence, where the tour will begin.
We will start in the small urban jewel of Manarola, characterised by the Genoese style of 'tower houses', famous for its wine and oil production.
We will then continue to Riomaggiore, one of the largest villages where the small steep streets are called caruggi. Starting point of La Via dell'Amore.
The village of Monterosso a Mare, known as the 'pearl of the Cinque Terre' boasts sandy beaches such as that of the Gigante. You will discover the true colours of the Cinque Terre in Vernazza with its strong maritime tradition and lush vegetation that will captivate you.
Then you will take another boat or train to reach La Spezia where the bus will be waiting for you. Enjoy a pleasant journey back to Florence, where the tour will end.
