In this section the Sesia flows between very high granite walls, in a bed only a few meters wide.

In these gorges, famous for their natural beauty, the current creates extraordinary plays of water and the sun, filtering through the walls, enhances its spectacularity.

The route is slightly shorter than the classic one and is practiced when the latter does not have enough water to go down. When the Sesia in fact has a water level that covers the "classic" section, the Gorges become impassable due to their conformation.

It is basically a descent of a canyon, intense and spectacular. A mixture of rafting, canyoning and river trekking. A complete river experience feasible with particular water levels.

The difficulty is medium, with a characteristic natural landscape.
