The Brenta Riviera and the Venetian villas: navigating on board of a burchiello

The Riviera del Brenta has always been considered the ideal extension of the Grand Canal by the Venetians.

You will have the opportunity to retrace this sumptuous journey aboard a comfortable motor ship, as was once the case aboard the burchiello, dear to the nobility of Venice, visiting the magnificent Venetian Villas. Three locks, ten bridges that can be opened and thirty-three kilometers with more than eight meters of altitude difference characterize a path rich in Culture, History, Art and Nature of Veneto.

You can board both Stra and Fusina. The tour includes the following attractions:

- Villa Barchessa Valmarama, custodian of paintings from the Venetian Baroque school by Michelangelo Schiavoni or VILLA WIDMANN, sumptuous 18th century residence designed by Andrea Tirali and frescoed by Giuseppe Angeli;

- Villa Foscari "La Malcontenta" designed in 1560 by Andrea Palladio, with the interior walls entirely frescoed by Giambattista Franco and Giovanni Battista Zelotti.

The cost of the tour also includes lunch served on board with fish menu according to traditional Venetian recipes:
