A beautiful guided tour on board departing from Portegrandi, one of the last riparian villages located along the Sile River, aboard a motor vessel perfect for a wonderful day.
We begin with a navigation along the archaeological area of the Roman city of Altino, up to the salt marshes and marshes of the northern lagoon. Stop at the island of Torcello, considered the "mother" of Venice and famous for the Devil's Bridge, the Locanda Cipriani, the Throne of Attila, Hemingway's hunting trips and its Romanesque-Byzantine basilica Santa Maria Assunta, which houses the largest mosaic in the world depicting the Last Judgement!
Upon returning on board, continue towards Burano, famous throughout the world for its colorful houses, lace, and the art of dry pastry making. You can visit the church of San Martino and admire one of Giambattista Tiepolo's first paintings, as well as the famous lace museum, the typical shops with the lacemakers who produce it "currently", and buy the famous biscuits "bussoeai".
Lunch on board or free.
After visiting Burano, we will go to the famous island of Murano, famous for the ancient art of blown glass, with a visit to a furnace included in the tour and completely free. You'll discover the charm of the autumn lagoon: be enchanted by its landscapes, stories, mosaics, the magic of blown glass, and the beauty of Burano's colorful landscapes reflected along its canals!
