Cruise on Garda Lake and Desenzano

MORNING from 9,30 until 12,30

Guided visit of the "Roman Villa" with its magnificent mosaics, one of the most remarkable examples of villas of late roma age in Nothern Italy, and of the "G. Rambotti" museum, set in the former monastery of Santa Maria de Senioribus and featuring bronze age finds among which the Lavagnone plough, one of the most ancient tools of this type so far discovered all over the world.

Guided visit of the Cathedfral dedicated to S. Maria Maddalena, dating back to 16th century, which houses works by Tiepolo, Andrea Celesti, Zenon Veronese. A nice walk across the old town: discover the stories of the life of Sant'Angela Merici, search for evidences of the Serenissima Republic of Venice (Porticciolo Veneziano) and ascend to rthe Castle*, built on the ruions of a former Roman fortress.

AFTERNOON from 14,30 until 16,00 approx.

Unforgettable cruise across the Garda Lake on board of a unique boat allowing also to admire the depth opf the lake. during the cruise a skillful guide will narrate the history of Desenzano del Garda and of the lake.

Itinerary: Desenzano, Punta Vò or Oasi San Francesco and return, to admire: coasts, lake bottom, fishes, macrophytes, algae, rushes and birds living through them.
