Set in a farm in the hills of Trasimeno Lake (Perugia, Umbria), you will spend a full day breathing flavors of the earth and of the good Umbrian cuisine. Also you will cook during a real cooking class.
This farm, a family-owned farm, is 30 hectares large, its productions are mainly cereals and uses the crop rotation method and the low fertilization in order to obtain a better quality harvest.
The daily programma will be:
Arrival of participants, presentation of the farm and its staff
Guided tour of the vegetable garden and harvest of vegetables to be used during the cooking class
Visit to the warehouse and grinding flour from a stone mill
Transfer to the kitchen to prepare Pici (typical Umbrian pasta) using flour produced by the farm
