Description
Set in a farm in the hills of Trasimeno Lake (Perugia, Umbria), you will spend a full day breathing flavours of the earth and of the good Umbrian cuisine. A real farm surrounded by green Umbrian landscapes.
This farm, a family-owned farm, is 30 hectares large, its productions are mainly cereals and uses the crop rotation method and the low fertilization in order to obtain a better quality harvest.
The daily programma will be:
Arrival of participants, presentation of the farm, walking in the fields and presentation of the production cycle, transfer of company stock, flour production and presentation of products.
After the visit you will have lunch/dinner with typical local products and tasting of wines.
The menu will be:
Starter (toasted bread with extra virgin olive oil, vegetables, Fagiolina-legumes of Trasimeno lake)
1st dish (legumes soup, Farro salad, barley soup with carrots and peas)
2nd dish (sliced meat, cheeses with marmalade/honey, roasted meat)

Tasting of wines (white, red and pinkish)
