The gulls of the Maccaiano ditch progressively affect the steep slopes of the Valserra, only really coming to the last stretch, to go to flow into the waters of the Serra.
The descent presents interesting aspects especially from the naturalistic point of view, given the very isolated and safe environment. The great absence of the "Maccaiano" is the water that for long times must have traveled impetuously, accelerating the effects linked to karst.
The descent is pleasant and not tiring, suitable for those who do not like to immerse themselves in the scuttling waters that characterize the most modern sporting canyoning but rather prefer to be captivated by the severe and wild atmosphere of a naturally defended and therefore still intact and wild world.
