A plunge into the waterfalls of Vallone del Tuorno!
We take you on a discovery of nature in one of the most beautiful and unknown places in Basilicata.
A few kilometres from Ponte alla Luna di Sasso di Castalda are the Vallone del Tuorno waterfalls. The gorges can be reached by following an easy path that descends towards the torrent.
On arrival at the bottom of the gorge, near a spring of sulphurous water that you will taste, you start out on the path in the river bed. The path proceeds through the water between pools, jumps, waterfalls and small rapids. The scenery is enchanting. The sun's rays do not reach down here. The little light together with the humidity and the great presence of water have made the green omnipresent: a heavy, ancient, still, ancestral green. The only sound is that of water on the rocks in a corner of wild nature: admiration and adrenalin alternate step by step.
