An ideal exit for those who want to walk through craters, fractures and volcanic supply ducts.
Starting from Piano Provenzana (1800 mt) on board 4x4 vehicles, you will reach an altitude of 2800 mt to enjoy a breathtaking view of Sicily and the Crateri Sommitali.
The hike continues with a trek through lava flows, ancient eruptive cones, the "Hornitos" of 1947 and the famous eruptive fracture of 2002 (Northeast Rift), before returning on foot to the starting point.
A journey through the geological time of the volcano, among the most spectacular wounds on the North face.

Alpine/Volcanological Guide, 4x4 bus tickets, trekking poles, windbreaker and trekking shoes (for those without).
