You will also visit the first capital of Italy over 2000 years ago, where the Lira was forged for the first time. Travel program
- First day:
Arrival in the splendid village of Scanno, welcome briefing and guided tour. Scanno is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy: of medieval origin, it keeps the historic center intact. It is also the goldsmith's village and it will obviously be possible to visit a workshop and see how the Presentosa is made in silver filigree. Finally, the tradition of the costumes of the Scanno women, a real journey through time! Typical dinner and overnight stay.
- Second day: Breakfast and departure for Anversa degli Abruzzi, leaving the lake and crossing the splendid Sagittario Gorges. The route leads to Pratola Peligna, passing by the splendid Abbey of Santo Spirito al Morrone, seat of the Majella National Park, and from there to Corfinio. Perhaps not everyone knows that Corfinio was the first capital of Italy, over 2000 years ago. This is because the idea of "Italy" has much more distant origins than many believe.
