Travel Program
Day 1: Your e-bike adventure through the most beautiful villages of Umbria begins! In the afternoon, arrival in Foligno, one of the liveliest towns in the region and a perfect starting point for exploring Umbria's Golden Triangle. After checking in, you can take some time to relax by the pool and enjoy the peace of the surrounding hills. Before dinner, there will be a briefing with the local guide followed by a group dinner-an opportunity to meet your travel companions and taste the first Umbrian specialties, including homemade pasta, truffle, and Sagrantino wine. A toast, and we're ready to begin the adventure!
Day 2: The Sagrantino Wine Route Today we cycle along the Sagrantino Route, a path that crosses the heart of Umbria among vineyards, olive groves, and medieval villages. The first stop is Montefalco, one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in Italy," known as the Balcony of Umbria for its views. We then continue to Bevagna, an authentic and charming village where time seems to stand still. We end the day with an unmissable experience: a tasting of Umbrian wines and local products in a winery between Montefalco and Bevagna, featuring the celebrated Sagrantino DOCG. Return to the accommodation for dinner and relaxation.

Day 3: Spello and Assisi Tour We leave Foligno and head to Spello, a medieval gem nestled in the hills, also known for the Infiorata, the flower festival that colors its streets in June. From here we continue cycling at the foot of Mount Subasio until we reach Assisi, the city of St. Francis and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here we can visit iconic sites such as the Basilica of St. Francis, Piazza del Comune, and the Hermitage of the Carceri. After free time for lunch, we begin the return journey, stopping once more in Spello. In the late afternoon, we return to the accommodation for a relaxing evening and dinner together.

Day 4: Today is a free day to enjoy Umbria at your own pace and according to your interests. You can visit other villages such as Trevi, with its spectacular views over the Umbrian Valley. For those who love active tourism, one option is walking a stretch of the St. Francis Way. Outdoor and adventure enthusiasts can reach, within an hour's drive, the spectacular Marmore Falls. Anyone wishing to continue exploring Umbria by bike can rent an e-bike and venture along routes around Foligno. Dinner is free.
Day 5: Along the Olive Belt We resume our e-bike journey crossing the Olive Belt, a unique landscape recognized by the FAO as a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. Here, olive groves shape the gentle slopes, offering breathtaking views and a relaxing atmosphere. We reach Trevi, a medieval village perched on a hill, famous for its DOP extra virgin olive oil-one of the finest in Italy-and stop at an olive mill for a tasting. In the afternoon, we return to the accommodation for well-deserved relaxation by the pool, recharging for the next adventures.

Day 6: Toward Rasiglia and its Springs We ride toward Rasiglia, the enchanting "village of streams," where stone houses overlook crystal-clear waterways that flow between mills and small canals. Here we enjoy a tasting of typical Umbrian products, savoring the authentic flavors of the region. We then continue on to Pale, a village immersed in nature, home to fascinating places such as the Hermitage of Santa Maria Giacobbe, the mysterious Grottoes of the Abbess, and the spectacular Menotre Waterfalls. In the afternoon, we return to Foligno, where we can enjoy the last hours of relaxation before the farewell dinner.

We explored the Golden Triangle of Umbria, cycling among medieval villages, hills of olive trees and vineyards, wineries, and olive mills. We experienced the thrill of cycle tourism, discovering hidden corners of this extraordinary region with the comfort of an e-bike. From the charm of Montefalco to the evocative Bevagna, we pedaled the Sagrantino Route, tasting wines and local specialties. We visited Spello and Assisi, the city of St. Francis, and also enjoyed moments of relaxation and freedom.
