In the heart of the walls of Amelia, a beautiful village in lower Umbria not far from Terni, stands Palazzo Venturelli, a historic residence from the 1300s, built on the remains of a Roman domus, of which beautiful mosaics remain, still visible in the cellars.
In the cellars of Palazzo Venturelli, the Museum of mosaics and wine was built, which houses the ancient tools used for the production of grape nectar.
The residence offers three suites, each one different in furnishings and colors, elegantly furnished with period furniture, equipped with every comfort and three apartments with kitchens.
The ancient barn is located on the panoramic terrace overlooking the valley, ideal for relaxing moments, for an aperitif at sunset or for summer breakfasts.
In the new tavern, adjacent to the cellars, guests can enjoy typical Umbrian products combined with excellent wines.
