The ARCUS holiday home is one of the four towers that forms the castle of Macerino, in the province of Terni (Umbria, central Italy) located 650 meters above sea level, on a mountain peak that is two-thirds covered by lushious pine forest.
ARCUS offers 66 sleeping places divided into 14 fully furnished apartments each composed of a dining room with a fire place, a cooking corner, one or two bedrooms and a bathroom, all accessorised with socket television, bed linen and with central heating. One apartament is also specially equipped for the disabled. The ARCUS holiday home is open all year round. In the vicinity there is a restaurant specializing in Umbrian cusine and speciality of truffles. It is possible to cycle, walk or house-ride along the perfumed forest that sorround Macerino and relieve sensations of the past. There are also organized walks, that follow a prearranged itinerary, on the Martani Mountains or organized cyclingtrips following the itinerary of Valserra Park.
