A full day discovering the villages and wine regions of Tuscany!
Starting from the centre of Siena, with a minivan guide, you will reach San Gimignano, the city of a hundred towers, cradle of Vernaccia, the first Italian DOCG wine. You will continue on to Monteriggioni, the ancient 12th-century fortress that Dante mentions in the Divine Comedy as the Giants of Hell. You will then reach a winery in the Chianti region for a wine tasting paired with local cheeses and products. The tour will continue to the Val d'Orcia, a Tuscan jewel and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will reach the hill of Montalcino with its 1500 hectares of vineyards of the world-famous Brunello wine. You will visit a winery where you can taste one of Italy's first DOCG wines in combination with local products.
Return to Siena in the evening.
