A visit to a winery in the Chianti hills is a fantastic opportunity to taste the fine flavours of Tuscany just a stone's throw from Florence.
A beautiful walk through the vineyards of a company that has been working with passion and determination in the Tuscan land since 1960, cultivating vines and olive trees with respect for tradition. You will observe the olive trees and vineyards and learn about the production process, cultivation and harvesting methods as well as the history of Chianti and its qualitative evolution over the years.
In the fermentation cellar you will discover the production techniques and then continue to the ageing cellar to admire the barrels and barriques. The tour ends with a tasting of four wines: Chianti Classico, Chianti Classico Riserva, and Montarsiccio I.G.T., Vin Santo. The tour includes a snack of Tuscan bread with Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the farm, Tuscan Pecorino cheese, Tuscan ham and salami, Vin Santo and cantucci biscuits.
