Departure from the center of Lorica, along a small stretch of asphalt road and immediately take a path where you can admire beautiful specimens of Pino Laricio, beautiful pastures used by breeders for herds of Podolic Clues up to Quota 2000m in the summit at Monte Botte Donato where you can admire Arvo Lake, Cecita Lake, if the weather is clear you can see the Volcano of Etna nearby Sicily and the Gulf of Taranto, as well as peaks nearer to us like Colli Perilli, Monte Cocuzzo.
The route continues from the road of the peaks and continues to another path where you can admire beautiful valleys of beeches and mountain grasses meeting different sources of the Neto River the longest river in the Sila National Park. Then we arrive at Croce di Magara, where we visit Giants of the Sila Unico of its kind, this majestic centuries-old wood in the center of Calabria survives intact from the seventeenth century in the shadow of its imposing "patriarchs", which give rise to a magnificent spectacle of nature.
The return of almost 15km will be on asphalt through internal roads passing through the lake of Ariamacina, and you can visit the highest-gauge railway station in Europe and finally the village of Silvana Mansio.
