A wonderful excursion to discover two of the most beautiful landscapes of Sicily: woods and craters of Etna in the morning and the botanical and geological park of Motta Camastra to visit the Alcantara Gorges in the afternoon. You will walk along some of the most beautiful hiking trails of the volcano and the canyon of the Alcantara river. The departure takes place from Taormina, Giardini Naxos and neighboring countries. You pass through some villages of the Etnea belt, and then start to climb the spectacular slopes of the volcano along the panoramic Mare-Neve roads.
The hike includes an easy walk along one of the most fascinating paths that lead to the top of some craters. Then continue with a visit to a fascinating lava flow cave. Lunch is scheduled in a chalet surrounded by a lush pine forest. In the afternoon you will cross the picturesque village of Castiglione, before reaching the famous Alcantara Gorges and the homonymous river. Here you can take a bath and enter inside the Canyons to finish the excursion.
