A journey through time to discover two of the most beautiful villages in Italy in the Upper Tiber.
Medieval Citerna, with its characteristic architectural structure on two levels: the walls, with its alleys and panoramic points and the underground with underground walkways and cisterns.
Anghiari, an enchanting village perched on the valley, famous for the historic battle that took place in 1440. Our tour starts from Citta' di Castello following exclusively cycle paths and rural roads of the Upper Tiber plain and then climbing with moderate slopes to the walls of Citerna.
We will continue towards nearby Anghiari. After a well-deserved moment of relaxation, we will go down the renowned "ritta" of Anghiari to reach the cycle path of the Tiber River and then arrive in Citta' di Castello.
