At the top of the median mountain of the land that inspired the Araldic arms, for those arriving from Via Amerina and the western side, Montecastrilli appears at 392 meters above sea level, like a real stronghold.

It's located in an ecologically intact and suggestive territory, characterized by an agricultural landscape dotted  with farmhouses and large plots of cultivated land.
